Head, Neck, Face Scarves!
We use these all the time for many purposes. They are soft, stretchable, can be used as headband, neck scarf, face protection, to keep cool or warm. Thomas wears them on the bball field during those cold early season practices/games, we used them all through Rim to Rim at the Grand Canyon to soak in cold water and put around our necks/heads. We have used them running in the cold, to breathe through, we have used them to keep the hair out of our faces. So many uses, such a great price. Super soft! Many colors, patterns to choose from.

Marmot Rain Coats
Bought these from Sierra Trading Post for $50 bucks! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It is light-weight, smushable, packable, warm, breathable, rain-proof. I bought it for hiking and backpacking but I have ended up wearing it running and around town. I absolutely love this coat. Especially love the zippers in the armpits to COOL those areas!

Keens
We haven't tried the off-brands although I saw a pair in Walmart. Anyhow, these are AWESOME. My kids each have a pair and if they would stop growing, they would last and last and last... WORTH THE MONEY! Price shop, I did see kids on sale for ~$34 on shoes.com, that's not bad at all!

Chacos
These are expensive. My grandmother always said you should never skimp on shoes. Well, there are some you can for that wedding and the shoes you will wear once! But, if you are going to put on the miles, you need good shoes. Agreed, Grandma Angie! They are incredibly supportive for a sandal, great for hiking, great for water. GO AND TRY THESE ON! Test them out before going in for the plunge...~$104 big ones!!! These are DURABLE! Have had them for many years.
