Canyon de Chelley

Beautiful place.  Full of history. There is one hike/trail starting at the White House Overlook.  The trail descends 600 feet with switchbacks to the bottom of the canyon.  Maybe allow 2 hours.  At the bottom of the canyon is White House Ruins, a beautiful historical spot of the Native Americans.  An old settlement built into the rock.  Interestingly, there were Native Americans selling beautiful wares.  There is some arrangement between the reservation and the state land.  It was a day hike --down to the bottom, then back up and out.  Beautiful, just beautiful.  Click the link for the website.
