We didn't spend much time here but immediately knew it was a place to come back to.  We were coming home from a trip of "Fundamental Places".  We had driven out to the GrandCanyon to meet my parents, sister, and niece and together did a loop of the great southwest parks.  As always, wonderful to share these amazing places with first timers and see the wonders again and again.  However, we craved some solitude and "Off the Beaten Path" adventure even if for a small jaunt on our drive back east.  Driving through this National Forest takes your breath away.  We found a remote campground and settled in for a couple of nights and dayhiked around.  Quite beautiful and worthy of more "Off the Beaten Path" exploration.  Click the link for the website.
